Fun With Family!

Erick's sister and her family were in town this weekend.  It was fun to be able to spend time with them!  Riley spent the day with us on Saturday so we have lots of pictures of her but I didn't get one picture of cute little Cooper! :(  Hopefully someone will send me a few with all of the kiddos and I will add a couple.

Salt & Vinegar Chips

Brecken tried Erick's Salt & Vinegar chips about six times in a row.  Not sure why he kept putting them in his mouth but all of us loved to watch his reaction!  Enjoy the three videos below! :)

Busy! Busy!

And what, you ask, have we been busy doing?  Being sick.  Ugh.  It started on Saturday with B-man vomiting everywhere and just being a plain old limp noodle.  He actually took two 3-hour naps on Saturday.  He has gotten better, but is still not 100%.  Then Ava and I were both up in the middle of the night on Monday/Tuesday morning getting sick.  I really hate to throw up.  Not that anyone likes it.  But I really despise it.  Anyways, then Erick got sick Tuesday morning, so he wasn't able to drive on Brecken's field trip.  So.  We are just a bunch of fun!  After laying around ALL DAY yesterday and having Erick's mom come over and help last night since neither of us could even move, we feel somewhat better. 
I went on Ava's field trip with her this morning (she is 100% better).  We went to the pumpkin patch and it was absolutely freezing!  But we had tons of fun and Ava thought it was great that I got to drive her and one of her friends.  On the way, she said, "Silas, I am so glad you are riding with us."  He asked, "Why?"  Her answer (after a giggle, of course): "Because I LOVE you!"  And then they both continued to giggle in the backseat.  Silas' reply was "I love you! I love you! I love you!"  Too funny!

Playing In The Dirt

The kids had fun on Saturday playing in the dirt.  I have a funny video catching Ava semi-accidentally pouring a shovel full of dirt on B's head, but it's too big to upload.  Dang Blogger.  When it started to rain, we ran inside and put them straight into the tub.  The water became dirty VERY quickly because the kiddos were filthy!  But they had fun and it kept them busy for a while, so that's all that matters!

Ava is FOUR!

The theme of Ava's birthday this year was Olivia.  Since her party was at ten in the morning, we decided to have her "cake" be a tower of donuts.  Ava had fun playing, being with family and friends and opening gifts.  We are so thankful to everyone that joined us!  Can't believe our little girl is FOUR!
