Family Fest

This week we spent our evenings at Family Fest at church! It was super fun to spend time with our kiddos...playing, singing, praying, dancing, learning more about God, eating, laughing, etc. It's our third summer to join in the adventure, but Brecken's first summer to be able to do it with us instead of being in the child care. What a great week!

Can you see the love? :)

Last night of Family Fest

Fun in the firetruck hose! I loved watching all the kids (and adults) play in the water. The littles even made me run through!

Yum!

Trying to get my girl take a pic with me.

A little archery.

Ava's arrow went the farthest of the whole night!

Summer Fun

We had another sleepover with cousins last night and everyone did such a fabulous job getting along, playing, listening, and going to sleep. Well, most everyone. We seem to be having a little problem with B-man throwing some fabulous fits this week. I am hoping it's only because of the meds he's on for more ear infections, cough, and an infected bite on his booty. Anyways, it was a great night nonetheless!

Erick read the bedtime stories.
Softball and t-ball are officially over and it kind of makes me sad. The Littles both had a great season and learned so much. It was awesome. They both got medals at their last game and of course, it was super exciting to be able to bring a drink and snack for all the kids after the game. I think one of their favorite parts of the season was picking out snacks!

Let's see, what else have we been up to...loosing teeth, going to a play and a movie, celebrating my mom's birthday, getting mosquito bites, having fun with animals at Tanganyika, going to art workshops, sleeping in, staying up way too darn late, jumping around at Get Air, swimming, playing, and more playing. Sometimes I just don't want summer break to end.
Ava lost her third tooth and got a couple dollars from the Tooth Fairy. She already has another tooth that's super loose.

Tried to get a pic of the kids at The 3 Little Pigs. As you can see, it worked out SO well.
Another try.
She looks mad, but I swear she had just woken up and wasn't quite ready to smile yet. She's a little like me in the morning.
Playing at Imagine That Toys while Ava was at an art workshop. Walked out after an hour without buying a thing. No fits. He didn't even ask. It was awesome. And will probably never happen again.
Ava drew and painted Elsa at the art workshop at The Art Park. Such a great place!
And when we came home from the workshop, she kept drawing for hours. This is Wyldstyle  from the Lego movie.
Had a little party for Nanny's 63rd birthday!
At the doctor, getting B-man's booty bite checked out. He asked for a massage while he waited and his caring older sister obliged.

Loving exploring the animals.
A little camel ride.

Freddy's!

The kids loved Get Air. It was a great place. I might just want to go by myself sometime. :)
Red faced, hot, sweaty. She jumped like a crazy woman.

This is kind of like Where's Waldo. Where's Cooper?

Happy 4th of July!

We were busy bees on the fourth this year! We were able to hang out with Erick's family and also see my mom, aunt and uncle. We went to the splash park for a while and let the kiddos run around, then have Spiderman and Hello Kitty popsicles. We had a little quiet time, went swimming, came back home and played more while Erick and Marisa grilled and cooked a fabulous dinner, rode bikes and scooters, did fireworks, watched fireworks, caught lightning bugs, did more fireworks and watched more fireworks.
It was a great day and night!

Enjoying a fabulous summer dinner!

Race time!

Watching some fireworks.

Apparently the hat covers his ears so the sound of the fireworks doesn't bother him as much.

And then the girls decided to dress for winter.

This looks like T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

I know it's fuzzy. But for some reason I like it. The kids are on the blanket, looking up at a sky full of fireworks.

The day after...keeping themselves busy.

I love to watch them be creative and play together so nicely!
