Whew! It's been quite the week! No school on Monday due to President's Day, I stayed home with a sick little Ava on Tuesday, worked on Wednesday while Mimi stayed with Ava, and school was canceled on Thursday and Friday (today) because of all of the snow (14.2 inches).
Ava has had the flu since Monday night and just today started feeling better. We were actually able to get out of the house today to run some errands and go to lunch. The streets weren't too bad, although some were still snow packed. I am so glad that Ava felt better today--it was hard seeing her so sick. She barely talked or moved, except to get sick. Glad to have her back to normal!
