I can't believe March is already half over! We are currently on Spring Break and it won't be long until the school year is over. We've had a busy month so far and we plan to keep busy this week too. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
Erick has done quite a bit of traveling this year already, but just short trips so far this month. He and I got to take a weekend trip to KC at the beginning of the month for a Marriage Retreat. It was a fabulous time away and I'm so thankful we got to be together while my mom stayed home with our kiddos.
Erick's uncle, Bob, passed away and their were many family members in town. We are very sorry for the circumstance, of course, though it was wonderful to see so many people. Ava and Brecken especially enjoyed spending so much time with their cousin, Riley, who lives in Rhode Island.
Erick just turned 34! He was out of town on his birthday, but the kids and I made him a cake and we cooked out when he got home. My birthday is next. Feeling super old....
Today is St. Patrick's Day, so we wore green to church. Ava and Brecken have searched the house for leprechauns, only to find some tiny green M&M's in each of their rooms. They figured a leprechaun left them for both of them to eat. After naps, we went to Disney on Ice. Thanks to my dad, who bought us the tickets! We had a great time!
Oh, and today is also Selection Sunday for March Madness. Go, Kansas teams! So proud!
Enjoy the pictures! I have to finish watching The Walking Dead now. :)
