Oh my goodness, I am so tired. It's not until you are a mom when you realize you still won't sleep even after the babies "sleep through the night". Ha. Lady A does just fine, but B-man...oh, B-man. He has started taking naps only 3 days out of the week at preschool instead of 5. We thought that would help him get to bed earlier and easier. He was staying up all hours, just not tired, then it was horrible getting him up because he was exhausted. He'd take a nap at school, revive himself and the whole thing would happen all over again. Talk about getting NO adult time.
But, Mommy, I'm just not tired.
But, Mommy, I want you to scratch my back.
But, Mommy, I need to tell you something.
But, Mommy, I need you to rub my face.
Mommy, I had a bad dream. A bug bit my finger and it was on Daddy's shirt.
But, Mommy, I just need to get my toys.
And the list goes on....
I love cuddling and reading stories and scratching backs, but I would really rather not do it 80 times a night. Anyways, I didn't really mean to go off about this. As I logged in to type, I just thought of how I really just wanted to go to bed. And it's only 6:32.
So. Now the real reason I'm on here.
Ava had a Know Your World Presentation at school a while back. It went very well! Bless those Kindergarten teachers! :) I really want to post the video of her saying her line, but other kids are in the video too and I'm afraid I might be in trouble if I put it on here. So her line was: "Number Eight, the food. You will probably be able to smell the herbs and spices baked into the local food before you sit down to eat it." And she looked so darn cute saying it. Big smile on her face while she was at the microphone.
Next up is my niece, Erin's, wedding. She and the groom, Titus, looked fabulous and we had a great time!

Ava and Emmi...she loves holding babies! |
Here are some random pics of B and I walking to Ava's school to pick her up, Ava and I on her field trip and a couple on the playground.
Next up: Ava's music program. She had so much fun! Her music teacher is fabulous and Ava is so very sad that Ms. B will be leaving Hyde after this year. She actually cried yesterday during music (and continued in library) when the teacher informed the kids of this. :( So sad because she is an amazing music teacher! Ava will get to see her this summer, though, at a CYT camp that she is super excited about. So, back to the program...the songs were great and I took lots of pics and videos, but again, I cannot post all of them on here because of the other kiddos. Ava had a line in this program also and her favorite song was Ice Cream and Cake. It was supposed to be a surprise for the parents and it was super cute because the kids got really into it! So here is what I can post. A few "before" pics and a few "after" pics:
Okay, that is more than enough for tonight. B is begging me to pretend I am sick so he can be the doctor. Off I go!
