Trick-or-Treat with Nanny

We went to Nanny's this evening and the kids went trick-or-treating on Main Street, strutting their stuff as Batgirl and Jake the Neverland Pirate. We also went out for some pizza, had a great visit with Papa and played for a bit at Nanny's house. Lots of fun and laughter this evening!

B actually stopped trick-or-treating so he could eat his candy. People would try to give him more and he told them no!

Pumpkin Carving and Painting

Each year we let the kids paint their pumpkins and we carve the bigger ones after they draw a face on them. It was a beautiful evening out tonight and we decided it was time to decorate our pumpkins and make a few of them into jack-o-lanterns. Ava loved digging her hands into the goop! Brecken did not. :)

Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch was great! The weather was beautiful and we all had a wonderful time. So glad that we make this a tradition each year.

Happy Birthday to Ava!

Ava's birthday party was today and I just downloaded the pictures so I am hurrying to put them on here before I wait until two months now. I have obviously been horrible at blogging lately!
My little baby is six years old and I can't believe it! She's so tall and beautiful and intelligent. I love her to the moon and back!
We had a few family members over this afternoon to celebrate and we also went to Great Wolf Lodge last weekend with my parents (SO fun!). I have a few pictures of that, too, and will put those one once downloaded (soon, I promise).
