Brecken is FOUR!

Great Wolf Lodge!

Loving running around the hotel!

Ice Cream at about ten o'clock at night!

Yumminess at Fritz's! The kids loved the trains!

The birthday boy got a big boy bike!

Thanks to my friend, Amy, B enjoyed taking these Captain America cupcakes to school.

The night of his fourth birthday.

At his bday party with family.

Out of order, but the kids really enjoyed the bunk beds at GWL.

Another out of order. Oh well!

Beagle Bash

Beagle Bash 2014 at Ava's school...
The kiddos got to play lots of fun games and get many prizes.

Snoopy!

In line for the 100th time to win a goldfish! Oh my, there were many tears when she didn't win. Finally, they just gave her one. Great. I was pretty okay with her not winning one.

So here is Gilly the Goldfish. He stayed at our place over the weekend and then we decided since we really love him, we would let him go in the lake behind our house because he needed to be with his friends. I am sure he's much happy now.

Easter 2014

Ava was the first one up on Easter morning and she hunted for all of the eggs in the house, then hid them again for B-man. We let him sleep because he was exhausted!

An Ivy and Bean book in her basket. She loved it!

All B cared about was eating the candy.

A little photo op before church on Easter morning.

Hunting eggs at Mimi's house.

Love our little family!

So Tired

Oh my goodness, I am so tired. It's not until you are a mom when you realize you still won't sleep even after the babies "sleep through the night". Ha. Lady A does just fine, but B-man...oh, B-man. He has started taking naps only 3 days out of the week at preschool instead of 5. We thought that would help him get to bed earlier and easier. He was staying up all hours, just not tired, then it was horrible getting him up because he was exhausted. He'd take a nap at school, revive himself and the whole thing would happen all over again. Talk about getting NO adult time.
But, Mommy, I'm just not tired.
But, Mommy, I want you to scratch my back.
But, Mommy, I need to tell you something.
But, Mommy, I need you to rub my face.
Mommy, I had a bad dream. A bug bit my finger and it was on Daddy's shirt.
But, Mommy, I just need to get my toys.
And the list goes on....
I love cuddling and reading stories and scratching backs, but I would really rather not do it 80 times a night. Anyways, I didn't really mean to go off about this. As I logged in to type, I just thought of how I really just wanted to go to bed. And it's only 6:32.
So. Now the real reason I'm on here.
Ava had a Know Your World Presentation at school a while back. It went very well! Bless those Kindergarten teachers! :) I really want to post the video of her saying her line, but other kids are in the video too and I'm afraid I might be in trouble if I put it on here. So her line was: "Number Eight, the food. You will probably be able to smell the herbs and spices baked into the local food before you sit down to eat it." And she looked so darn cute saying it. Big smile on her face while she was at the microphone.
Next up is my niece, Erin's, wedding. She and the groom, Titus, looked fabulous and we had a great time!
And they lived happily ever after...

The Littles with Sarah and Shea

Ava and Emmi...she loves holding babies!
Here are some random pics of B and I walking to Ava's school to pick her up, Ava and I on her field trip and a couple on the playground.

Next up: Ava's music program. She had so much fun! Her music teacher is fabulous and Ava is so very sad that Ms. B will be leaving Hyde after this year. She actually cried yesterday during music (and continued in library) when the teacher informed the kids of this. :( So sad because she is an amazing music teacher! Ava will get to see her this summer, though, at a CYT camp that she is super excited about. So, back to the program...the songs were great and I took lots of pics and videos, but again, I cannot post all of them on here because of the other kiddos. Ava had a line in this program also and her favorite song was Ice Cream and Cake. It was supposed to be a surprise for the parents and it was super cute because the kids got really into it! So here is what I can post. A few "before" pics and a few "after" pics:

Okay, that is more than enough for tonight. B is begging me to pretend I am sick so he can be the doctor. Off I go!

Wow.

A friend of mine kept texting me and telling me to update my blog. I kept telling her I would do it soon. I needed to sit down and focus, download a few pictures and start typing away. Other things just kept getting in the way of doing that. More events and holidays passed. Still no blog. She texted me again tonight. So finally I looked at my blog. The last title was "Spring Break, Part 1." What? No Part Two? Or Three? Why even have a "Part One" if that's all you're going to do?! So, ya. I know. I gotta get on this. It's just so much easier to blog in the summer when I have more time! But I just downloaded a ton of pictures from my phone and camera. There is no way I can put them in one post, so I will have to do a little at a time.
How about I just start with the rest of the Spring Break pics? There really aren't many.
Go Shox.

Getting ready for t-ball.

The beauty has decided to play ball this summer. First time. Machine Pitch.

Love our babies.

Went to GPNC and saw some wild animals!

Found this little cutie at the zoo!

Our crew.

My darling Ava playing with the iPad under the blanket so she can stay in the shade.

Super B!

So I still have Ava's music program, Kindergarten Know Your World assembly, a wedding, Easter, my new position at work next year, Beagle Bash, B's birthday and Great Wolf Lodge. But this is all for now. More tomorrow. I promise, Kelly.
