Brecken's giraffe is missing. Well, it's pretty much gone, not just missing. He has had his giraffe since he was born and this is what he did with it: held it while he slept, held it while he cried, held it while he was happy, walked around with it in his mouth, sucked on it's ears, chewed on it's head, etc. This thing made him happy. It stunk so bad from him chewing on it that it had to be washed almost every other day (this had to be done strategically, because it could never be done during a nap or another time he may need it). When we would get it out of the dryer and hand it over to him, his eyes lit up and the giraffe's head went right into his mouth!

We did the March for Babies walk yesterday morning and think that's where it got lost. We didn't realize it until we got back to the car after the walk. I called Exploration Place and they said no one turned it in and my wonderful friend and babysitter even drove there later in the evening and looked in the parking lot. This all may sound silly, but we don't believe it is. He loved this thing! So since he no longer has his lovie, here are his other choices:
We're not sure which one he will choose to replace the giraffe, if any of them. But at least he has choices!
On a happy note, we had fun at March for Babies. It was a beautiful day! Erick and I strolled the kiddos in the double stroller. Here they are all bundled up when it was still chilly. It warmed up, though, and we got rid of our layers.
Erick and Ava planted a little garden and it's beginning to grow. Can't wait to see the flowers that come out of it! We made a weekly chore chart for Ava and one of her chores is watering the flowers in the backyard. She loves it!
And I just had to add this picture, because it shows what a good cat Val is. He still lets both kids lay on top of him!
