Holiday Island #1

Just got back from our fabulous vacay and I have lots of pictures to share! The first couple of days at Holiday Island were spent with our own little family and my mom. It was super fun but bittersweet as this was the first year that Tom, my stepfather, didn't go on vacation in June. We missed him!
We spent lots of time at the pool...beginning right when we arrived on Saturday late afternoon. Both kids were like little fish! And speaking of fish, the kids got to go fishing for the first time. The kids had little poles (Barbie and Spiderman) and Ava had her own little tackle box which was given to her by her Uncle Randy. Both kids caught a fish and were super excited!
Here are pictures from the first couple days. I will keep adding. I took way too many, as usual.

This is how B wanted to spend most of his time...under water.

First fish! So exciting!

Another first! Although, it was actually caught by Nanny. She let B reel it in and we pretended he caught it. He LOVED it!

On the way back from fishing, we saw some firetrucks checking the hose pressure in the lake. They do this once a year. B always says he wants to be a fireman, so we stopped and looked at the trucks. The guys said he could get in but he was a little cranky and tired and he refused. So we just got a picture outside instead. He says when he grows up he will be a fireman and rescue cats from trees.

Love this one. She looks so serious.
